Amid closure of road, two patients airlifted from Gurez to Bandipora

Bandipora, Jan 11 : The administration in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday airlifted two patients from snowbound Gurez valley to Bandipora for immediate medical relief, officials said. Officials told the news agency that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, the duo patients requiring emergency evacuation from Gurez Sub Division airlifted from Baduaab and Neeru to Bandipora. Notably, the snow-clad Gurez valley remains cut off from the rest of the Kashmir parts during winters, owing to heavy snowfall in the valley
