Srinagar, July 13: Ahead of mayoral elections for Srinagar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said it is yet to decide on a strategy for the polls.
“We are yet to take a decision on whether to extend support to any candidate or abstain from voting,” BJP district president for Srinagar Ashok Bhat told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
He said the party will soon decide about its strategy for the polls. “There are three days left for the polls. We will soon take a call on the matter,” he said.
It is worthwhile to mention here that mayoral election scheduled on July 14 will now take place on 16th of this month—
