Demands same for political leaders & other workers.
Srinagar: Expressing gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Shri G C Murmu for “approved life insurance cover of ₹25 lakhs to all elected BDC chairperson, sarpanches, panches and elected members of municipal bodies in case of death due to militancy and for approving the grant of mining rights through short-term permits to Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), Former MLA Ganderbal and NC leader Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar today said he is satisfied over the response of Governor G C Murmu and his Administration to his demands of public importance.
Recalling his meeting with G C Murmu, Ex MLA Ganderbal said that he and Senior Citizens and Sarpanch Association, MCG Chairman recently called upon LG G C Murmu in Srinagar, and project different demands which include the demand of security & life insurance cover to elected BDC chairperson, sarpanches, panches and elected members of municipal bodies besides grant of mining rights to locals.
District President Sarpanch Association Ganderbal Pir Mohd Yousuf and Chairman MCG Advocate Altaf has also thanked LG G C Murmu for fulfilling the demands.
Jabbar & the delegation has appealed him for release of funds for the completion of the developmental projects in Ganderbal district and felt encouraged to see the response of LG Shri G C Murmu to his plea.
Mr Jabbar has demanded same LIC cover to prominent political leaders and office bearers.
