Elderly man dies after hit by a Sumo in North Kashmir’s Kupwara

Kupwara: An elderly man died after hit by a Sumo in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Police sources told news agency  that a speeding Sumo (JK05B-3981)  hit an elderly man in Ganapora area of Kupwara falling in the jurisdiction of police station Kralgund.

The victim identified as Muhammad Yousuf Bhat of Ganapora village was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have seized the Sumo, arrested the driver, and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
