Sopore, 21 July 2020:
In order to eradicate drug menace from Police District Sopore, Police Station Panzla arrested two drug peddlers namely Ghulam Mohiudin Lone S/O Ab Ahad Lone R/O Balhama Panzla and Mohammad Lateef Tantry S/O Mohammad Sultan Tantry R/O Darshanpora Handwara and recovered approximately 240 grams of Charas and pulsar bike without registration number was also seized While carrying out random naka checking near Government School Panzla.
In this regard case FIR No. 77/2020 U/S 8/20, 28 NDPS Act has been registered Police Station Panzla and investigation set into motion.
Civil society has hailed the police action against the drug peddlers in the area.
