Inhabitants of Palpora Ara Koshipora and Damhaal area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district allege against the Jal Shakti Department (Public Health Engineering PHE) for failing to provide adequate water supply to them.
The residents accused the department ignoring their plights and unscheduled water supply wil be provided in area.
Locals said that “Our area has been grappling with the water crisis many times we have approached to concerned authorities but all goes in vain and Nobody is paying heed to our sufferings,being Contacted with Concerned employee of that area reagrding he told i have no time to repair mainline.
The locals have appealed to the higher authorities to look into the matter if again nothing will be done they took on streets.
Meanwhile Exen Jal Shakhti Anantnag Mohd Siraj Shah assured that we look into the matter and the grievance of the locals will be redressed soon.
