Say no yatri being allowed to move towards holy cave from Nunwan base camp in Pahalgam

Srinagar, July 05 : In view of bad weather conditions, Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended as no yatri has been allowed to move ahead from Nuwan base camp in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district, officials said here on Tuesday.

An official told that Yatra has been stopped for time being in view of the bad weather conditions.

He said that no yatri has been allowed to move towards holy cave due to inclement weather conditions enroute to the holy cave shrine.

The official added that more than 3000 Yatris are staying at Nunwan base camp right now.
