Much neede events to connect youth with rich legacy of Kashmir
Ganderbal 06 September; Social activist Mohammad Amin Shah welcomed the inauguration of Fun fair by DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat ishfaq and Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Shyambir which is being organized in connection with the Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Qamar-ud-Din Bukhari which is being celebrated after 33 years. This event will continue till September 10. Such events will connect people with the rich culture of Kashmir.
Shah said that events being organised like day-long music programs, gymnastics, etc. Besides this people will get oppertunity to install shopping stalls, food stalls etc which will help the to earn livelihood during this mela. Lot of people from different areas of Kashmir are here with the display of handicrafts. He said that different departments have also been directed to install stalls showcasing a variety of products and technologies developed in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Agroforestry, Agri-Engineering, and other related fields and also displaying and highlighting various welfare schemes and programs, besides the various departments have been directed to present scintillating cultural items on the occasion.
“Such events are much needed here during this hard time to and especially youth have opportunity to present and advertise their talent”. Shah added
