There are around 2.5 million ants for every human on Earth: New study

A new study revealed that there are around 20 quadrillion (20 followed by 15 zeroes) ants living on Earth which means there are around 2.5 million ants for every human. The total biomass of the ants is 12 million tonnes which is more than wild birds and mammals combined, which have total biomass of 2 and 7 million tonnes, respectively.
