RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 28: District Employment and Counselling Centre (E&CC) today organized a Job Fair to provide job opportunities to the youth of Rajouri district in different agencies.
District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal inaugurated the Job Fair at District Employment and Counselling Centre. Among the others present during the event were DDE, Qadeer Ul Rehman; Employment Officer, Aslam Beig and other officers and officials from DE&CC.
The Job fair witnessed the participation of reputed private employers from different sectors for the placement of the eligible aspirants.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner lauded the efforts of the District Employment and Counselling Centre Rajouri for arranging a meeting of job seekers and employers in one place.
He encouraged the unemployed educated youth to avail the benefits of self-employment schemes and establish their own income generating units to become ‘job providers ‘ rather than ‘job seekers’.
“Rajouri has enormous potential and unemployed educated youth should adopt entrepreneurship as a career and establish their own business units” he said.
While highlighting scores of initiatives launched by the government under Mission Youth, the DDC said that the government is committed to extend a hand-holding to the youth under the ambitious Mission Youth Program.
The DDC also inspected the stalls and impressed upon the resource person to give detailed awareness to the intending youth about the viable and economically fruitful units so that the youth get motivated and reap the benefits of self-employment schemes.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from job seekers as scores of unemployed youth/jobseekers from across the district participated in the event.
The unemployed youth also expressed gratitude to the District Administration and District Employment and Counseling Centre, Rajouri for organizing the job fair and appealed for continuing such events in near future for their welfare.
