Directs for creation of Single window clearance System

Beneficiary enrollment & approval to be done in camp mode, No Need to Visit Banks or Government offices

BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 27: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, S F Hamid today chaired 80th District Level Review Committee and District Consultative Committee meeting at Conference Hall Budgam.

Stressing on the timely sanctioning and disbursing of cases, the DC directed all departments to prepare a checklist in consultation with the lead bank.

Banks were instructed to respond on the same within seven days time, if they fail the checklist shall be deemed as final for further necessary action. It was also decided that Banks/ Departments shall not demand unnecessary documents and shall strictly adhere to the scheme guidelines.  He asserted that targets set for various social security shall be completed within the approved timeline

Calling mass awareness of schemes for self employment generation, the DC gave instructions that financial inclusion camps be organized in convergence with other departments particularly RDD in all rural areas of the district.

While reviewing the performances, he asserted more focus in lending to the priority sectors and directed underperforming banks to take effective measures in enhancing the lending capital.

While welcoming all the heads of line departments, District Coordinators of various Banks of the District, Lead District Manager Budgam presented the performance of all the banks and line departments of the district for quarter ending June 2022.

Lead District Manager while deliberating about the performance of the district said that an achievement of 104.43 percent in CD Ratio was registered for the Ist quarter of the financial year 2022-23, which is among the best ratios of the J&K State.  She also revealed that the deposits of the district stands at 3695.46 crores as against the Rs 3462.62 crores of corresponding June quarter of 2021-22, thus recording a growth of 6.72 percent yoy.

The advances of the district stands at 3859.04 cr as against the advances of Rs. 3248.82 crores of corresponding June quarter of 2021-22, thus recording the growth of 18.78 percent in advances yoy.

Lead District Manager Budgam assured the chair that every sphere and segment of population and business activity will be taken care of with a better systematic and prompt approach. She said that all the stakeholders will work for the upliftment of underprivileged, unemployed youth, skilled and unskilled men and women, students and the general public of the district.
