Ganderbal Jan 11: With the snowfall on higher reaches in Ganderbal district, BJP Ganderbal district president Mohammad Amin Shah request deputy commissioner Ganderbal Mr Shyambir and additional district development commissioner Mr Mushtaq Ahmad to take notice of the ground situation. Mohammad Amin Shah said DC Ganderbal and his office has been always ready in the situation like this and Shah not only acknowledge it but he pays the gratitude to present as well as previous administrations of Ganderbal. Shah said Mr Shyambir & Mr Mushtaq are a dynamic, energetic officers and ready for all challenges. Shah urged district administration to issue helplines in public interest so that people from far flung areas of Ganderbal like Wangath, Chonttwaliwar Lar, Sonamarg can call administration directly in case of emergency. There are challenges like snow avalanches in some areas where tribals live and face the danger in times of snowfall. Shah urged administration to make ambulances available for such far flung areas. Shah also said JK Police has always sacrificed their lives in such situation. In a tribute to police officers who were casualties in such avalanches, Shah said we owe a great debit to them. Shah urged SSP Ganderbal Nikil Borkar to help people in need. Shah said urged police officers to be available for local people if any emergency situation arise. Shah requested mechanical engineering department that Ganderbal-Sonamarg highway is necessary and connects a large population therefore the highway must be cleared immediately. Shah also urged sarpanch, panch and DDC members of Ganderbal to be available for people and remain in touch with local people.
