Husband, wife, two kids found unconscious in room in Handwara, hospitalized

Handwara January 14:  Four members of a family were hospitalised on Saturday morning after they lost consciousness in their sleep in Machipora Handwara of North Kashmir’s Kupwara.   A police official said that Javed Ahmad Bhat, his wife and their two children were found unconscious inside a room of their house in Machipora village in Handwara area.   According to the official, all were immediately rushed to district hospital Handwara were they are under treatment.   A health official said that all the four family members have been admitted and were stable, though they remain admitted in the hospital.  He said that the family had kept a room heating device on throughout the night, which probably caused them to fall unconscious.  He added that the timely help of locals and health department saved precious lives.
