Handwara A free medical camp was organised by Handwara Police under the Civic Action Programme initiative at Environmental Hall Handwara in association with District Hospital Handwara. The camp was organised to extend medical check up facilities in far off areas and to also make the general public aware about the drug addiction, its symptoms and the measures which could be taken for deaddiction. A team of doctors Dr Azhar Masoodi , Dr Rameez , Dr sajid Geelani Dr Mehraj along with team took part in the medical camp. The doctors briefed the public about the symptoms, causes and consequences of drug abuse. The visitors were urged to consult doctors if they found any symptoms of drug addiction among their family or acquaintances. Further, around four hundred patients suffering from various ailments consulted the specialists present and availed free checkup and medicines facilities.
