Jammu, March 20: Inspector General of Police Armed/IRP, Jammu Zone, Sh. M.N. Tiwari-IPS accompanied with Smt. Nisha Nathyal-IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police Armed/IRP Jammu Zone and Smt. Manjeet Kour-JKPS SO to IGP AP/IR Jammu visited CTC Sunjwan to take stock of the existing infrastructure as well as to foresee the scope of infrastructure upgradation so that more trainees could be accommodated at the training centre and specialized training courses could also be run there.
On arrival at CTC Sunjwan, IGP AP/IR Jammu Zone was received by Smt. Anita Sharma-JKPS, Commandant IRP-14th Bn. along with Officers/Officials of IRP-14th Bn. and was presented by Guard of Honor at Quarter Guard.
Inspection of the entire campus of CTC Sunjwan was conducted by IGP AP/IR Jammu Zone who also interacted with trainees who are presently undergoing One Month physical fitness refresher course and discussed the various issues pertaining to the training Centre. The trainees were briefed about the importance of their ongoing training and were advised to maintain strict discipline and simultaneously to take due care of their health and fitness also.
Plantation Drive was also organized on the occasion with IGP AP/IR Jammu Zone and other officers planting saplings of various fruit trees at the orchard maintained at CTC Sunjwan and appreciated Commandant IRP-14th Bn. for the efforts made for maintaining the campus of CTC Sunjwan.
