Srinagar, Apr 30: Under the headship of its Chairperson, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, J&K Waqf Board on Sunday organised a grand conclave at Tagore Hall Auditorium Srinagar to celebrate the 100th Episode of PM’s public outreach programme “Mann ki Baat.” The Programme was celebrated with presence of an audience of over 600 participants, including Hon’ble Board Members, Imams, Khateebs & Muallims, staff & students.
The event begun with recitation of National Anthem. The Prime Minister’s Programme was live streamed on the screen in the auditorium & watched very enthusiastically & keenly by all participants. The Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Programme was followed by a series of performances on the theme “Mann Ki Baat & its Impact on Society.”
The theme was expressed through small sketches, poetic recitations & debate deliberations. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Andrabi expressed extreme joy over the fact that J&K Waqf Board is organising such a grand conclave for the first time in its history of several decades & joining & taking forward the developmental agenda of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
She also lauded the achievements of the Prime Minister’s Mann ki Baat programme, that has successfully carved its place among the common masses & whose popularity graph has always been on the rise since its start in the year 2014. Chairperson Waqf also emphasised that nowhere in the world such Programmes have managed to survive & maintain popularity for so long, & it goes to the Prime Minister’s charisma & appeal among the masses.
“Modiji’s public connect is magical. He is the leader who knows how to inspire the country by his public connect. His vision of developed India is inspiring our new generation accross the country and J&K is also acknowledging the Modi magic with open heart”, said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.
KU VC, faculty, officers, students listen to 100th episode of PM’s Mann Ki Baat The Vice-Chancellor, faculty, officers, research scholars and students of the University of Kashmir on Sunday keenly listened to the 100th episode of Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme, which began in October 2014. The link of the 100th episode was circulated well in advance on the University’s official website, official Facebook page, and via other official platforms like SMS for its wider dissemination among the faculty and students. Vice-Chancellor Prof Nilofer Khan had directed for mass dissemination of the link of 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, saying the monthly important radio programme has truly attained historical significance owing to its huge reach and credibility within and beyond the country. Notably, the Honourable Prime Minister mentions important topics in the radio programme which is currently being broadcast in 23 languages, including 11 foreign languages. These topics, among others, include sports and sporting achievements, women empowerment, health awareness, bravery of jawans, cleanliness, inspiring stories, yoga, National Education Policy-2020, and others.
