The youth of the country plays an important role in development and growth of a country. As said, a country will grow as much as the youth will grow. Keeping the same as the background, Youth Panchayat was started in the villages of Machhal Bowl in the month of May 2023. The initial Youth Panchayat was conducted on 10 & 11 May 2023 at Machhal and Dabpal respectively.
A total of 222 youth were registered during the panchayat as volunteers to work for peace, prosperity and progress at the grass root level. These youth volunteers are being trained on all aspects of Govt schemes and also about their participation in socio-economic expansion of their respective areas.
As energetic and vibrant partners of the Youth Panchayat, they will ensure social service and national integration. They will also be role models for one and all and will play a pivotal role in creating lifelong change among youth and will result in their overall personality development.
The josh and enthusiasm shown by the youth during the conduct was exemplary and a total of 216 youth from the village of Machhal and Dapal participated in the youth panchayat on 05 Jun 2023.
06th Jun, being World Environment Day, the youth were engaged in a cleanliness drive, wherein they were made to clean the area of central interest i.e. local market area and the Machhal Nar which is the source of natural water for the villagers.
