Teenager Boy Falls from Haystack in Kupwara Village, Dies

A 19-year-old boy died after falling from a haystack in Lolab area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this afternoon.

Reports reaching said that one Showkat Ahmad, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Najar, fell to ground while piling a haystack in his native village Kawari in Khurhama Lolab.

The teenager was soon after evacuated from the site to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to SDH Kupwara, where he succumbed shortly after.

When contacted, a police official also confirmed to GNS about the teenager boy’s in the incident. (GNS)
