The Income Tax Department carried out a raid at the residence and shop of a famous businessman in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Monday morning.
Reliable sources told that sleuths of the Income Tax Department, along with police, raided the residential house of Javid Ahmad Aanam of Sopore.
Javid is the owner of the ARCO business group. The searches related to income tax were going on when the last reports came in.
An official told a news agency that the raids have been conducted since morning, details of which will be shared after the conclusion of all searches. (KS)
