Pattan, August 14 : A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Official details available with Kashmir Despatch, a teenager identified as Manzoor Ahmad Mir consumed some poisonous substance at his residence yesterday evening and the family members noticed him in serious condition. They rushed him to Tramua hospital Pattan where doctors declared him brought dead.
A police officer told that the reason for the suicide was not immediately not known, adding a case has been registered and initiated investigation to ascertain the circumstances which forced the boy to take this extreme step.
