A 36-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in the Hidyal area of Kishtwar district on Sunday morning officials said.
Official sources told that the boy allegedly hanged himself in his room early today.
They said family members immediately moved him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll said they have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case.(KS)
