An army soldier allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday sources said.
Official sources told that a soldier (name withheld) posted at South Kashmir’s Rashtriya Rifle camp in Pampore, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside the unit.
Sources further added, the reason behind the suicide was not known immediately.
Meanwhile, A police party has rushed to the spot to ascertain the details.(KS)
