Srinagar, November 15,DG:In an effort to guide and empower prospective Haj pilgrims for the year 2024, the Passport Office in Srinagar organized a comprehensive Haj Awareness Program on November 14th, 2023, at Haj House Srinagar.
The program, inaugurated by Mr. Davinder Kumar, the Regional Passport Officer, aimed to enlighten participants about crucial aspects of the pilgrimage, including the passport application process, Haj guidelines, travel arrangements, and the religious significance of Haj.
Mr. Kumar emphasized the spiritual journey of Haj, underlining its importance. He provided insights into the various services and facilities offered by the Passport Office Srinagar for Haj applicants, urging them to initiate the passport application process well in advance and adhere to guidelines issued by the Haj committee and the Saudi Arabian embassy.
Officials from the Passport Office conducted presentations covering topics such as form submission, online passport applications, documentation requirements, and other essential procedures. An interactive session allowed participants to seek clarification on the passport application process, with the Passport Officer addressing queries and offering valuable tips.
Expressing gratitude, participants and the Executive Officer of Haj House commended the Passport Office Srinagar for organizing a highly beneficial and informative program. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sujaat, the Executive Officer of Haj House, extending appreciation to dignitaries, guests, speakers, staff members, and participants.
