Army on Wednesday foiled an infiltration bid and have so far killed an intruder along Line of Control in Uri sector, officials said.
Officials sources told that on receiving inputs of a possible infiltration bid, the alert army soldiers upped the vigil along Line of Control in Uri sector.
“The alert army personnel in the course of time intercepted and gunned down a militant”, they said adding the operation in the area is currently underway. (KS)
