Srinagar, Nov 23 : Fresh firing has resumed in ongoing encounter at Kalakote area in Rajouri, a day after four army personnel, including two officers were killed at the site.
An official told that fresh contact was established this morning, following which intense exchange of gunfire is being witnessed.
“More security columns have been moved to the site even as helicopters also pressed into service to locate the trapped militants to neutralize them at an earliest”, the official said.
It is pertinent to mention here that four army personnel, including two officers, were killed on Wednesday while fighting the militants, believed to be two in number.
