Dr Satish Vimal delivers a Lecture on ‘Moral, Ethical values & Teacher-Student relationship” in Division of Animal Genetics and Breeding at SKUAST

A motivational lecture on the topic “Moral, ethical values & teacher student relationship” was organized by Division of Animal Genetics and Breeding (AGB) at FVSC and AH (in Shuhama Campus of SKUST-K. Dr Satish Vimal, the famed writer, cultural crusader & eminent broadcaster was the chief guest and keynote speaker on the occasion. The Lecture was organized by the Head of the AGB Division Dr Syed Shanaz. The event was graced by presence of Dr M.T Banday (Dean FVSC and AH), Dr Zahoor Ahmad Pampori (HOD division of Veterinary Physiology) and other faculty members of the institute. Dr M.T Banday speaking on the occasion praised the efforts of the organizers and highlighted the need of inculcating moral and ethical values among the new generation. Dr Satish Vimal addressed challenges related to issues of anger & impatience among youth and the behavioural management for personality development. Vimal spoke on the need of awareness about the cultural and historical heritage among the young generation. He counselled students to inculcate humanist attitudes so that they become peaceful and productive forces of the society. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the students and faculty members. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr Nusrat Nabi.
