GANDERBAL, APRIL 06: The District Nodal Officer SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) organized engaging programmes and rallies at Govt Degree College Ganderbal and Govt Degree College Kangan, fostering awareness among fresh voters about the significance of voting in a modern democracy.
The events witnessed dynamic deliberations led by District Level Master Trainers (DLMTS), highlighting the pivotal role of voting in shaping the democratic fabric of the nation.
Addressing the young electorate, speakers emphasized the power vested in each vote and its impact on steering the course of governance.
In a bid to promote active participation, mock polls were conducted at Govt Degree College Kangan. The enthusiasm displayed by fresh voters during the mock polls underscored their eagerness to exercise their democratic right responsibly.
These initiatives reflect a concerted effort by the authorities to instill a sense of civic duty and responsibility among the youth, ensuring their active involvement in the democratic process.
