BANDIPORA, APRIL 18: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Thursday chaired a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) at Mini Secretariat aimed at addressing the conversion of land for non-agricultural purposes in the district.
While reviewing the status of NOCs issued in favour of applicants, the DC directed the concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of NOCs under rules.
The DC, on the occasion, emphasized that all the ‘change of land use’ cases should be completed within stipulated time, and there should be no unnecessary delay or hurdles in genuine cases.
A total of 13 cases were discussed in the meeting, out of which 11 cases were approved and 02 cases were returned for further clarifications as regards to certain formalities.
Rather warned of strict action against any illegal construction activity in the district.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ACR Shabir Ahmad Wani, GM DIC, DFO, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Executive Engineers, Tehsildars and other concerned.
