Srinagar, Apr 30 : Facebook page admin Mudasir Aziz has been arrested for outraged modesty of a woman and not cooperated with the investigating officer.
Honorable Court issued and order yesterday which reads that during the proceedings, the court took note of gravity of the charges against Mudasir Aziz including offences under sections 341, 354, 442, 506, and 392 of Indian penal code (IPC).
It is also mentioned in order that mudasir Aziz has outrage the modesty of the complainant and is found guilty of offence u/s 392 IPC which carries the sentence of 10 year jail and fine.
The order further reads that the applicant accused has violated the terms and conditions of interim bail, He has not cooperated with the I/O. which has hampered the investigation.
Therefore, the application in hand for grant of bail in anticipation of arrest is refused and is rejected accordingly, the applicant accused is directed to surrender before the investigating agency
within three days.
After the court orders he has been arrested by Concerned police station and he is in Custody Now.–(BAN)
