Jammu, Jun 06: In continuation to Operation *Sanjeevani*, on 05.06.2024, JKP at PS Gangyal, while performing Vehicle Checking duty at naka Purmandal, came across one Eco Sports Car bearing registration No. DL 10 CF/5126 Which was coming from Bari Brahmana towards Kunjwani was stopped for checking. During checking three persons were found boarded in a car. On enquiry they disclosed their name as:
1. *Tajamul Farooq S/O Farooq Ahmed R/O Kralpora Mehtab Srinagar.*
2. *Sarwar Iqbal Rather S/O Mohd Iqbal Rather R/O Dharam Bugh Kralpora Srinagar*
3. *Sameer Hussain Dar S/O Lt.Ghulam Mohd Dar R/O Chattar Gam Budgam*
On checking Heroine like contraband substances were recovered from all the possession of all three Persons. The drug peddlers alongwith contraband substance and Car was taken into custody. The arrest , seizure and recovery made by a police party headed by SHO Inspector Satvir Singh.
In this regard Case FIR No.52/2024 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS has been registerd at Police Station Gangyal and investigation taken up.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
