Srinagar: Janata Dal-United President GM Shaheen today called on the LG Manoj Sinha.
LG Manoj Sinha hailed the role of Shaheen in nation-building and said that people like him are really an asset.
Pertinently, Shaheen recently met Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Bilal Gani Lone, and cleric Dawoodi.
Sinha appreciated him for doing the good work in the interest of the nation.
During the interaction, Shaheen urged the LG to look into those cases where power bills exceed Rs 4000. He said poor people can’t afford to pay the hefty bills.
LG Manoj Sinha assured him that the matter would be looked into.
Shaheen also urged the LG to macadamize the roads of the city and elsewhere.
GM Shaheen during the interaction said that people have been facing a lot of problems and there should be officers who can resolve their problems.
LG Sinha hailed the JDU president for the work that he has been doing in the interest of society. [KNT]
