Operation going on
Srinagar, July 23 : Army on Tuesday claimed that they have foiled an Infiltration bid in Battal sector of Rajouri district while one soldier was injured during exchange of fire.
“Alert troops foiled an infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating terrorists with effective fire in the Battal Sector at 0300h.” The Army said in a post on ‘X’.
‘During the exchange of heavy fire, one braveheart has been injured. Operations are continuing.”Army said.
This incident comes a day after terrorists had attacked a house of VDC member in Rajouri in which uncle of VDC member got injured.
The nearby army unit reacted leading to encounter.
The operation in the area is going on.(KS)
