Awantipora, 25 July: LG Manoj Sinha commended the Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) for its gender equality, highlighting that 22 of 27 gold medalists were girls.

He lauded the fact that 22 out of the 27 gold medalists were female students, recognizing this as a testament to the institution’s progressive stance on gender equality.
Sinha emphasized the necessity for students to continuously innovate to address local challenges and contribute to the nation’s future. He highlighted the role of education in fostering higher values and independent thinking among students, which he sees as crucial for shaping the country’s destiny.
