Srinagar, August 03 : A BSF soldier posted at NITI post Tangdhar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district committed suicide by shooting himself with his service riffle, officials said Saturday.
They told that the BSF soldier identified as GD Ram Kumar of 89 battalion, who was posted at FDL NITI Post Tandghar in Kupwara shot himself with his service rifle resulting in his on the spot death at this post.
The body of Kumar was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tangdhar for medico-legal formalities, while as police have started proceedings under section 194 BNSS—(KNC)
