Anantnag, August 4, 2024: A tragic incident occurred in the Sangam area of Bejbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

 

Reports reaching said that a teenager Mohd Shabir, a 16-17 year old from Budhan, Reasi, Jammu drowned in the River Jehlum at Halmulla Sangam In Bejbehara Anantnag .

 

A police party immediately rushed to the spot, and a rescue operation is currently underway.The cause of the drowning is yet to be ascertained, and further details are awaited.

 

The incident has sent shockwaves in the area, and locals are in a state of mourning.(KE_Kashmir Exclusive)
