Srinagar, Aug 27 : A man died after receiving a severe electric shock in Hurpora area in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, an official said.
The official told that a person was electrocuted while repairing electricity at his home in Makani Dangarpora in Hurpora this morning. “The person was soon after evacuated to District Hospital Shopian, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival,” the official said.
Identifying the deceased as one Javid Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Salam, the official said that Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (NVI)
