Kupwara, Sep 15 : A 14-year-old boy was electrocuted while playing cricket at a playground in Karihama, area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.

An official told that the boy was electrocuted while playing cricket at a playground in Karihama, Kupwara. He died after coming in contact with a low-tension electric wire.

He said the boy, identified as Danish Ayoub Khan, son of Mohammad Ayoub Khan, was taken to the District Hospital Kupwara for immediate treatment. Despite the doctors efforts, Danish succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation. —(News Vibes of India)
