Kishtwar, Nov 7,: Police recovered the two dead bodies of shepherds who reportedly are Village Defense Guards in Kuntwara area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that the victims, Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, were shepherds who had gone to Munzla Dhar (Adhwari) to graze their cattle but failed to return home in the evening. Their bodies were later found in the jungle.

They are believed to have been killed by militants though officially that has been confirmed yet. Police have started the investigation. [KNT]
