JKNS//J&K BJP felicitates Dr Darakhshan Andrabi for her Award “Dr Andrabi’s Public Service as a politician is praiseworthy”: Ashok Koul*

Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu & Kashmir today organized a felicitation event in honour of party leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi at Srinagar. The event was organized by the party in view of the National Award conferred on Dr Andrabi for her Social Service. Shri Ashok Koul, the J&K BJP General Secretary (Organisation) presided over the event while as J&K BJP General Secretary & Ex- Minister Shri Sunil Sharma, Party General Secretary & In-charge BJP Kashmir Shri Vibodh Gupta, BJP Vice-President Shri Sofi Mohammad Yousuf and ten BJP District Presidents of Kashmir Division were part of the event in addition to other local leaders. The leaders presented a shawl to Dr Andrabi and praised her contribution as an active social and political personality of Jammu & Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion BJP General Secretary (Org) Shri Ashok Koul said that the commitment of Dr Darakhshan to her work is amazing and she silently works wonders in her fields of activity. “Dr Sahiba is an inspiring leader of our party and we are proud of her manifold achievements as a politician and as a social worker. She is a committed public representative who is respected by all for her disciplined and honest public role,” said Mr Koul. Shri Ashok Koul appealed to the party leadership to work in the field with dedication and honesty so that the spirit of alienation sowed in the paradise by the dynastic politicians
vanishes completely. Thanking the party leaders for the love and honour showered on her, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that her energy and motivation to serve the people comes from her party. She said, “Politics to me is only a potent way to serve the common people. I strongly believe that BJP only has the vision and the capacity to re-built New Jammu & Kashmir where there is no hollow sloganeering and exploitation of common people on sentimentalist agendas. Here, in BJP we have a clear vision that the future of J&K is very bright as the middlemen are gone.”
