Mir Aejaz Hussain Bereaved
Srinagar: Mir Gulam Rasool, a well known medical practitioner from South Kashmir’s Shahabad, Doru, left for heavenly abode on Monday afternoon. He was 61. He was father of Mir Aejaz Hussain, Kashmir Manager at Havells India Limited and Mir Altaf Hussain, Assistant Professor Government Degree College Anantnag.
According to the family, he passed away due to cardiac arrest, as he was suffering from a cardiac ailment for some time. Mir Sahib was a well known and admired figure in Shahabad Doru. Locals and the people from the adjacent areas thronged to his residence, as the news of his demise spread. A large number of people participated in his Namaz e Janaza.
Meanwhile, People from different walks of life have expressed their grief and sorrow on the demise of Mir sahib. Dr G N Itoo, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Maulana Syed Habib, President Zia ul Uloom, Poonch, Farooq Muztar, Founder Patron of Himalayan Education Mission, Rajouri, and noted Poet Dr liaqat Jaffari, in their condolence messages have expressed their grief and sorrow on the demise and have paid tribute to the deceased.
According to the family, his Fateh Khawani will be observed on Thursday at their ancestral graveyard at Shahabad, Doru.
