Srinagar: The Backlog students of Cluster University Srinagar have demanded that their previous examination results should be declared as soon so that they can apply for PG Course.
According to students the Second and Fourth Semester of batch 2017 have given exams in June and July this year but the results are not being declared even after the pass of two months, as a result of which students are suffering from mental illness.
Several Students told this reporter over phone that they have applied to other Universities for Post Graduation Courses (PG) who asked us for the marks sheet but due to delaying of results they are not giving us admission following which the students are very upset.
We have applied for various universities outside UT, for PG courses these University are saying to upload your marks sheet till 14 September Until we will not given you admission, said Ateeb Bashir Bhat .
Another Student Aqib Yaseen said that if University have taken us Online examination following threat of COVID-19 after which the students were quite happy that their results would probably be declear soon but unfortunately the Cluster University is not taking any steps in this regard.He further said that if University officials will not declared their result before 14 September than we will lose our academic year, he said.
Students have appealed the Cluster University authorities to declared their previous results as soon as possible so that they can continue their studies.
In this regard, When Jkns news agency contacted controller examinations Cluster university Srinagar, Dr. Khurshid Ahmed he said that the university officials are preparing awards and the results will be declared on time.(JKNS)
