Man in Pulwama Falls Victim To Acid Attack

Srinagar: A man in his fifties was on Tuesday evening attacked by an unidentified assailant with acid in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

“The victim identified as one Mohammad Shafi resident of Kalampora Pulwama, was returning back home, when an unidentified person attacked him on way,” an official told news agency JKNS.

“The person has been taken to a nearby hospital, from where he was referred to surgical ward of SKIMS Soura for preferential treatment,” the official said.

“A hunt has been launched to nab the assailant,” the official added. (JKNS)
