Qazigund Battalion CRPF organized a Free Medical Camp under the Civic Action Programme at Checkiwangund, located in the Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The event aimed to reach out to the local population and strengthen the relationship between the CRPF and the community.
The camp featured CRPF doctors, along with several civilian doctors, who provided free medical check-ups and distributed free medicines to hundreds of local residents. The initiative was widely appreciated by the people, who expressed their gratitude for the free healthcare services. Many residents urged the CRPF to continue offering such humanitarian assistance in the future.
Virendar Kumar, Commandant of the 163 Battalion CRPF, addressed the gathering, welcoming the locals and assuring them of continued support. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts to combat the rising issue of drug addiction, which is becoming a serious concern among the youth in the region.
The successful medical camp highlights the 163 Battalion CRPF’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and promoting goodwill in the area. The initiative also underscores the CRPF’s efforts to foster positive relations with the people of Kashmir.
