Srinagar: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhury on Saturday stressed the government’s readiness to address challenges arising during the winter season.
Talking to reporters in Srinagar, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhury, as per the news agency JKNS, said that acting on the directions of the Chief Minister, a review of winter preparedness was conducted, with a particular focus on tackling situations likely to arise due to snowfall.
He said that MLAs from various constituencies also participated in the review meeting. He assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure people do not face any inconvenience during the harsh winter months.
“We are on our toes and will ensure that the public does not face any problems due to snowfall,” he said.
Pertinently, the administration is set to implement a comprehensive plan to maintain essential services and provide relief to affected residents.—(JKNS)
