Ramban, Dec. 18: A group of enthusiastic students from PM SHRI Middle School, Wanpora, Qazigund, participated in an inspiring exposure visit to the Baglihar Power Project under the PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) scheme. This visit was organized to provide the students with an opportunity to connect their classroom learning to real-world applications, particularly in the field of power generation.

The exposure visit aimed to promote scientific temper, evidence-based thinking, and creativity among the students. The young learners were given a firsthand look at how cutting-edge technologies are employed in power generation, helping them understand the practical applications of the scientific concepts they study in school. The initiative aimed to spark curiosity in science and technology and encourage students to explore its potential in shaping the future of the nation.

Under the PM SHRI scheme, the event highlighted the importance of hands-on learning experiences. By interacting with experts at the Baglihar Power Project, students were able to deepen their understanding of complex scientific principles and develop critical thinking skills. This initiative is in line with the broader vision of PM SHRI to nurture creativity, innovation, and a sense of responsibility in students, preparing them to contribute to India’s leadership in science and technology on the global stage.

The exposure visit marks a significant step in creating future-ready students, equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
