Karnah // Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Karnah, Shah Mohammad Rana, convened a crucial meeting with the officials of private schools in the region, urging them to complete the ‘Uphar’ ID process promptly. The meeting also focused on enhancing the educational system and ensuring compliance with government policies.
Held on Thursday, the meeting saw members of the Private School Association Karnah and the ZEO engaging in discussions on the roadmap for a better educational framework in the area. Key topics included the implementation of government policies regarding fee structures, with the ZEO emphasizing that no private school should charge an admission fee, which has been banned by the government. Schools found violating this policy would face legal action.
The rise in book prices and other educational concerns were also addressed. Despite limited resources, the Association members assured the ZEO that private schools are committed to providing quality education, adhering to government guidelines, and ensuring that fees are in line with the Fee Fixation Committee’s instructions. The ZEO acknowledged these efforts and advised school officials to complete their ‘Uphar’ IDs and improve their U-Dise records.
Assuring full support for the modernization of the educational system, the ZEO reiterated his commitment to ensuring a brighter future for the youth in Karnah.
