Kashmir : A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits from the All India Kashmiri Samaj, led by its President, Sh. Ravinder Pandita Ji, visited Gurdwara Rakabgunj today to pay homage to the unparalleled sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the Sahibzadas, Veer Zorawar Singh Ji and Fateh Singh Ji, on their martyrdom.

The delegation interacted with the Gurdwara’s office bearers and pledged to work collectively to honor the Sikh Gurus’ legacy.

During his address, Sh. Ravinder Pandita Ji highlighted the significance of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s supreme sacrifice, emphasizing his pivotal role in protecting the Kashmiri Pandits and standing firmly against Mughal oppression. “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji not only saved Kashmiri Pandits but also symbolized resistance to the injustices faced by all non-Muslims in India. His commitment to justice, religious freedom, and resistance to tyranny earned him the revered title of Hind Ki Chadar,” Pandita stated.

He further underscored the unparalleled sacrifice of the Guru’s family, including the Sahibzadas, as a beacon of courage and devotion to Dharma. “In the annals of world history, there is no parallel to such a selfless sacrifice by an entire family,” he said.

Sh. Pandita affirmed the unwavering gratitude and respect of the Kashmiri Pandit community towards Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He concluded by reiterating the community’s commitment to living by the principles exemplified by the Sikh Gurus.

The visit symbolizes a continued bond of reverence and mutual respect between the Kashmiri Pandit and Sikh communities, united in their tribute to the sacrifices that shaped India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
