Rajouri: The District Police Rajouri on Monday said to have attached the properties of two persons involved in ant-national activities.
“Rajouri police while acting on orders from the Hon’ble Court, has attached the properties of two individuals under FIR No. 04/2011 registered at Police Station Thanamandi,” reads a statement issued here to news agency JKNS.
It reads as, the action was taken under Sections 3/4 of the EIMCO Act, in the presence of Revenue authorities on Saturday.
“The attached properties belong to Ishtiaq Ahmed, son of Mohd Zaman, resident of Bhattian Tehsil, Thanamandi, Rajouri with property of about 5 Kanal 14 Marla attached,” reads the statement.
It also reads as, another, Zahid Ali Khan, son of Mohd Iqbal, resident of Bhattian, Thanamandi, Rajouri whose Property of 2 Kanal 4 Marla was attached.
“The individuals are accused of supporting anti-national elements. The attachment is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle networks operated by Pakistan-based handlers and their associates in the region. The District Police reaffirmed its commitment to curbing anti-national activities in Rajouri,” the statement reads further.—(JKNS)
