Srinagar: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre Srinagar is set to conduct the viva-voce for projects and internships from 28th January to 7th February 2025 at its Regional Centre in Saida Kadal, Srinagar. This evaluation is a crucial component for students enrolled in various programmes, including MAPC, MCA, MSCIS, PGDET, PGDLAN, BAPCH, BCA, MAAN, MAEDU, BLIS, MAPC, MLIS, and MSCDFSM.

Students who have submitted their projects for the Term-End December 2025 examinations are advised to check their names and schedules on the Regional Centre’s official website. They must report to the designated venue on the specified date and time to participate in the viva-voce.

Dr. A. H. Rizvi, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar, emphasized the importance of the viva-voce, stating, “The viva-voce is a platform for learners to showcase their hard work and dedication. It not only evaluates their research but also helps them develop essential communication skills, including presentation, articulation, and the ability to defend their work. This is a mandatory requirement for students to complete their degrees successfully.”

Dr. Rizvi further highlighted the significance of a well-presented project viva, noting that it can significantly enhance students’ employability by demonstrating their expertise and skills to potential employers. He also advised BCA and MCA students to bring their laptops to demonstrate their project work during the viva-voce.

For further details, students are requested to visit the official website of IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar or contact the office directly.
