Anantnag: A soldier from Territorial Army who had gone missing on way to join duty after month’s leave was traced by the police on Sunday.
A top police officer told news agency JKNS that Abid Hussain Bhat son of Abdul Gani of Kharpora Chittergul Anantnag was supposed to join at Rangreth Srinagar after month’s leave.
He said that he did not report to his place of duty and his mobile phone was also switched off.
He said that the soldier was traced by police this evening and he is being questioned in the regard.
He said that there is no terror angle in this incident, however, investigation is going on.—(JKNS)
